About us
Founded by Gary & Beverly Kinney in 1975, our roots began in Alamo, Texas. What started as a two-person operation selling duck manure to local growers has grown into a trusted, full-service horticultural supplier, dedicated to serving the Texas and Mexico Green industries.
KBW was guided by a simple principle: take care of people, and the business will take care of itself. That commitment to responsive service and building relationships shaped the company’s early growth and continues to define how KBW operates today.
Over the decades, KBW has expanded its product offerings, locations, and operational capabilities while maintaining a strong focus on a given region and industry. Today, the company is ran by Gary’s son, Todd Kinney, operating as a third-generation, family-owned business — combining decades of experience with a forward-looking approach.
KBW works closely with growers and manufacturing partners to ensure access to reliable products, practical solutions, and knowledgeable support. We supply fertilizers, chemicals, containers, potting media and soil amendments, landscape materials, pest control solutions, irrigation components, and greenhouse construction materials.
